The Jihan flower is sacrificed to give the famous threads that are used worldwide in cooking: saffron, one of the most expensive spices of the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"When we were creating our signature Jihan fragrance – working with Drom’s perfumer, Valerie Garnuch-Mentzel – I was taken back to my early days admiring the cooking skills of my mother in the kitchen. I especially remember the cabinet that used to house the little sacred jar of saffron… I always used to feel as if the jar contained a sprinkle of magic – a pretty little pot that housed the rich red threads.
