All of our fragrance collections are adorned with what has, over time, become an iconic emblem of the Maison: the eight-pointed star. Known as Khatim or Rub el Hizb in Islamic contexts, this motif recurs across architecture, calligraphy, and the geometric adornments of textiles and mosaics. Its perfectly symmetrical structure embodies the core principles of Islamic art: it signifies harmony and balance, with lines and angles reflecting universal order and divine perfection; it evokes infinity and continuity, through the repetition of the motif that symbolizes the infinite—a central concept in Arab spirituality; and it conveys spirituality and protection, as geometric figures were traditionally regarded as carriers of sacred meaning, with the eight-pointed star representing inner equilibrium, cosmic harmony, and safeguarding.
